Daiquiri
- 4½ oz white rum (9 parts)
- 2½ oz lime/lemon juice (5 parts)
- 1½ oz simple syrup or less to taste... I only used ½ oz simple syrup (3 parts)
- Chill a martini glass in the freezer or with ice.
- Juice 2 limes and ½ lemon.
- Add cracked ice to a shaker.
- Add the rum, lime/lemon juice and simple syrup to the shaker.
- Shake vigorously for 30 seconds or more until a frost forms on the outside.
- Strain into chilled martini glass.
In my recipe, 1 part equals ½ oz.
