Balsamic Cherry Frozen Yogurt
Total time
- 2 cups of yogurt
- 1 cup frozen cherries
- ½ cup sugar
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
- Add the yogurt, cherries, and salt to a food processor.
- Pulse to combine while adding the sugar.
- Drizzle the balsamic glaze while on Low.
- Pour into a 24 oz re-closable container, placing plastic wrap over top of the mixture to prevent ice crystals.
- Freeze overnight before serving.
The sugar is needed to allow the yogurt to be 'scooped'. Otherwise the frozen mixture will be rock hard and unable to be served easily.
I used vanilla yogurt just to enhance the flavor, plain yogurt will work just as well. Whole milk yogurt will create a creamier result.
