Chocolate Banana Walnut Muffins

Ingredients
  • 1½ cups flour
  • ½ cup cacao powder
  • 2½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ⅓ cup coconut sugar
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • ¾ cup almond milk
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • ¼ cup walnut pieces
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Prepare a muffin tin with paper cups.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the flour, cacao powder, baking soda and salt.
  4. Mix the coconut sugar, bananas, almond milk, and coconut oil in a blender.
  5. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix with a spoon until incorporated.
  6. Fill the muffin cups ¾ full, sprinkle with walnut pieces and bake for 25 minutes, turning halfway through.
  7. Cool on a rack for at least 20 minutes before plating.
