Menu for the 3rd Week of October

I hope you have enjoyed following along with the dinner picture posts on Instagram form the past two weeks. Keeping the trend going, here is the menu for the coming week. This week I am re-using many previously posted recipes like I have in each of the prior weeks. Again, the goal is to enjoy a variety of delicious meals while minimizing waste. Last week was fun since I ended up swapping a few meals around during the week to accommodate my schedule. It will be interesting to see how this coming week pans out. Sunday – Swedish Meatballs

With the warmth of allspice and nutmeg prominent in these meatballs, this dish is so tasty and perfect for an Autumn evening.


Monday – Sweet and Sour Pork

The recipe in the link is for Sweet and Sour Chicken, but switching up the protein just makes this recipe that much more versatile.


Tuesday – Chicken Picatta

This dish is one of my all-time favorites. It is easy to prepare and full of flavor.


Wednesday – Honey Ginger Prawns

This dish is something new that I am excited to try out!


Thursday – Shepherd’s Pie

Another great comfort food that satisfies on a cool Fall night.


Friday – Pasta all’Amatriciana

Yep, I am still working on that ‘Friday night pasta night’ thing.


Saturday – Steak Involtini

I am making this dish for a small dinner gathering. I am certain it will be a hit with them.
